June 17, 2024, Miami, Florida – American Wire Group (AWG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Felipe Cam as the Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective June 3. Felipe is the first CIO in AWG’s history – marking a major milestone in the company’s growth. Felipe will be responsible for leading and supporting the innovative digital transformation of AWG’s networks.

As AWG’s CIO, Felipe will oversee emerging technologies, utilize critical success metrics to
drive IT strategies, and focus on strengthening the security and efficiency of internal technology infrastructure. Felipe will also play a critical role in integrating and managing technology solutions that will elevate the customer experience and efficiency across our organization.

Felipe earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and his executive MBA from the University of Miami. He brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles across logistics, manufacturing and commerce industries.
