December 19, 2022, Miami, Florida – American Wire Group (AWG), a leading supplier of wires, cables, equipment and accessories for the electric utility and renewable markets, has announced the opening of a third national distribution facility in Katy, Texas.
Strategically located 35 miles west of Houston, the new 205,000 sq. ft. distribution center has easy access to I-10 and SH 99/Grand Parkway. It will be the primary service center for customers in the Central and Southern United States. The facility will bring 30 to 50 new jobs to Katy over the next three years.

Texas is the third state in which AWG has expanded its operations to in recent years, following Pennsylvania and California. Operations from Katy will begin in early 2023.
